Sunrock also has proficiency in obtaining comprehensive subdivision approval having successfully navigated the approval process for several subdivisions, including Magnolia Farms, a 34 lot development in North Grafton, MA. Over a three year period, working closely with a team of expert consultants, Sunrock obtained all necessary municipal, state and federal permits for the site. Considerable thought was given to minimizing traffic and environmental impact to the surrounding neighborhoods.

Sunrock also has significant expertise in the acquisition and sale of a variety of commercial properties, including office, warehouse and flex space. In each acquisition, Sunrock seeks to create value for its investors by creatively renovating and repositioning each asset whether for sale or lease. Sunrock has an established track record of providing strong returns on a timely basis to its investors.


David Zaltas established Sunrock Development Corp., a real estate development company focusing on residential construction and the acquisition of commercial investment property in the Metrowest area, in 1996. David has substantial experience in the acquisition, financing, permitting and construction management for both residential and commercial projects.

Prior to starting Sunrock, David practiced real estate law for ten years with a concentration in commercial and residential conveyancing. David holds a Construction Supervisors license and Real Estate Brokers license in Massachusetts. He is a graduate of Union College and the Boston University School of Law.

David currently serves as an Incorporator for the Middlesex Savings Bank. He also serves on the Board of Directors for 2Life Communities, a non-profit focusing on affordable housing for the elderly in the Boston area as well as the Natick Service Council, a food pantry and family assistance center for families in Metrowest.
